When To Use: Use at the first sign of Ick (white spots on fish’s body or fins).
Directions For Use:
Before Dosing: For best results, adjust water temperature to 82-85 degrees F. Higher temperatures accelerate the life cycle of the parasite and ensures maximum exposure to the treatment. Remove all chemical filtration in tank (carbon, ion exchange resins) before use. In saltwater tanks, turn off protein skimmers before treatment. Resume use of skimmer after completion of treatment. Do not perform water changes during treatment if possible. If water changes are necessary, treat replacement water with Top Fin?? Ick Remedy. This treatment may stain some aquarium ornaments. Remove d??cor in tank before dosing if this causes concern.
Dosage: Shake well before each dose. One complete course of treatment will take six days. If fish are eating, feed lightly during treatment.
If necessary, you may perform a second six-day course of treatment. If no further symptoms are observed, replace chemical filtration in tank and resume use of protein skimmers as well as normal feeding. Adjust water temperature back to normal.
Top Fin® Ick Remedy is not recommended in systems with fresh or saltwater invertebrates, or coral.
Treatment Schedule Day 1: Add 5 ml (1 tsp) per 10 gallons
Day 2: Add 5 ml (1 tsp) per 10 gallons
Day 3: Perform a 25 to 30% water change
Day 4: Add 5 ml (1 tsp) per 10 gallons
Day 5: Add 5 ml (1 tsp) per 10 gallons
Day 6: Perform a 25 to 30% water change
